Apex Utilities Franchise Renewal Notice
Apex Utilities Inc. is applying to the Alberta Utilities Commission to renew its franchise agreement with the Town of St. Paul. This agreement allows Apex Utilities to continue delivering natural gas to residents.

Effective Dates: Proposed to start December 1, 2025, and expire December 1, 2035, with an option to renew.

Franchise Fee: The fee remains 27% of the distribution tariff (covering distribution and transmission charges). For an average household using 11.25 gigajoules per month, the fee is expected to stay at $26.69 per month.

Previous Approval: The current agreement was approved by the Commission in Decision 20631-D01-2015.
