Utility Readings (Water)

Information on New Water Meters

For those residences with new water meters, you are not required to provide a meter reading. You are able to identify if your meter is the current digital style but looking at the display screen. If you do not see your meter reading displayed, use the flashlight on your phone and shine on the display screen. By doing these steps, this would indicate that you have a new digital meter. The old meters have a stationary format and numbers are easily read when lifting the cover to the meter.

If you are still on the older stationary water meter, you can simply call Public Works at 780-645-3509 to schedule an appointment to have your meter changed to the current digital model. This is at no cost to you for the change over.
