Town of St. Paul - Housing Inventory and Needs Assessment - Final Report


On December 19, 2023, per letter from the Minister, the region received an Alberta Community Partnership (ACP) Grant for the proposed project.

In November 2024, the region awarded this contract to ISL. The region consists of Town of St. Paul, Town of Elk Point, County of St. Paul and the Summer Village of Horseshoe Bay.

The Town of St. Paul is the managing partner for this project.

The County of St. Paul, the Town of St. Paul, the Town of Elk Point, and the Summer Village of Horseshoe Bay have engaged ISL Engineering and Land Services Ltd. (ISL) to better understand the current housing situation in the region to identify current and anticipated needs and create a Regional Housing Strategy. The Strategy will support the development of affordable and diverse housing types to meet the identified needs of residents of all ages and abilities. Residents and interested and affected parties will have a key role in this work.

2025 Municipal Election Notice

Residents of the Town of St. Paul will vote for one Mayor and six Councillors. An Advance Vote will be held on October 10, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the St. Paul Recreation Centre. Election Day voting will take place on October 20, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., also at the St. Paul Recreation Centre. Voter identification is required - click the button below.
