GIS Data Collection/General Laborer
The Town is seeking one (1) seasonal employee to assist with GIS Data collection and mapping as well as being available to assist Public Works when required.
This position will require several KM’s of walking per day, as well as requiring the use of a Trimble data collector to collect asset and feature positions within town limits.
This position is ideally suited to an individual that possesses adequate physical health and fitness levels to walk the majority of the work day, in addition to having above average tech skills and a personal interest in computer sciences and applications.
Please have the following attributes prior to applying;
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Be organized and driven to complete projects
- Safety Focused
- Computer Literate
Required Qualifications:
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License with an acceptable driver’s abstract (for Laborer positions)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Applicants with First Aid, CPR, & A.E.D. certificates preferred
Remuneration: Starting wage depending on experience and qualifications
