Welcome to the Region of St. Paul Notification/Alert System.
This system is managed by the Region of St. Paul and will be used to issue alerts in the event of an emergency or a serious event.
You pick where, you pick how.
You will receive time-sensitive messages to whatever device you choose:
- home phone
- business phone
- text messages
Alert messages can also be sent to you about incidents happening near your home, work, school, or other address locations you choose in your settings.

This system will be used to notify you about emergent, significant and time-sensitive emergency events affecting the Region of St. Paul. Our system administrators will send notifications regarding:
Critical emergency alerts (immediate threat to safety)
Severe weather warnings for the Region of St. Paul
YOU must maintain your own updates with your contact information to ensure you receive Alerts/Notifications. The system is only as good as what you put into it. (example: if you get change of a cell phone number, you must update it in the system)

Each of our Subject Matter Experts are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all personal information to which they have access. We keep our employees informed about our policies and procedures for protecting personal information. Where necessary, our employees are required to sign agreements to keep your personal information confidential.
Personal information that you provide to the Region of St. Paul through the Everbridge Notification System will be used to notify you about imminent threats to health and safety as well as informational notifications that affect your location or work environments. The Region will not disclose your personal information to third parties without written consent, unless disclosure is required pursuant to a warrant for the purposes of criminal investigation. All information is hosted on servers in Canada. If you have any questions about the collection or use of your personal information, please contact the Regional Director of Emergency Management.
Retention of Personal Information
Your personal information is retained only as long as you want it to be kept for the purposes of the Notification/Alert system. The Region of St. Paul Notification/Alert System does not keep your personal information if it is no longer needed for the purposes required.
Once the personal information is no longer required, the Region of St. Paul Notification/Alert System Administrators will ensure that your information is securely removed. We have strict procedures in place with respect to destroying, deleting or disposing of personal information when it is no longer required for the purposes set out in this policy.
